Default Wheels...too big?

Hello, I've done a search to find how what is the majority thought on what size is too big for SC300s? My setup would be mostly daily driving in the NY area but do not want to suffer from a lot harsher ride due to big rims. Are 18s the best for looks/performance? Or are 19s? I'm use to Honda's so I would never go bigger than 16" for them. I think all the others just look to big and weigh to much for that(civic) car.

i guess it depends on your budget. for me, 18's already burned a hole in my wallet

Yeah 18s will probably be my budget too. But we will see, if I have to wait I will though.

I've had 18s and 19 inch blitz and I love my 19s Price between the 2 is crazy though, for the same brand tires Cost was almost double for tires alone. If the wheel cost doesn't kill you the tires will.

Yeah I figured tires would be insanely high. I have found 2 sets of wheels that I like but not sure what kind they are. But once I do and find out the price I will probably be pulling out the mastercard and cringing every second hehe.

Tires for 20s are actually cheaper than those for 19s. I think 19s are the perfect size for the SC with lowering springs. Here's a pic of my tiny little 17s

thanks guys for the pics. Those 17s dont look that small but probably in real life they look a lot smaller than the 19s on the red SC. I guess when it comes to that time I will make my final decision.

The 17s will actually look larger when I put in some lowering springs and close up that enormous gap in the wheel well. Just you wait!

I've never understood why there was such a massive price difference between 18's and 19's.

I went to one wheel shop here in Sydney and I was looking for Lowerhart LD1 alloys for the Soarer. 18's were at a cost of $3400 with tyres, and 19's at a cost of $7000 with tyres... wtf...

Here's a nice turbo Soarer with mesh gold 19s. Like I said before, perfect fit...
