So I left my tools on the garage floor and went for a test drive after replacing my front pads. My wife and 2 year old went into the garage and he was playing while she did laundry. Now, the key to take off my security lug nuts is MIA.


What can I do? I tore the place apart and it is gone. My boy is known for throwing things and it very well may be in the bushes or over the fence somewhere.

Order one from your dealer using your vin??? Thats what I had to do after a dealer didn't put it back after rotating tires.

go to the local dealership and the guy can walk out to your car and fit one immediately.

costs about 15-20 bucks.

i know all about it. I lost one the day I bought it.

yeah you could do that or use an extractor to get the old on e off

agreed with magneti i was at a toyota dealership to buy fluid and they carried a lot of mcgard locks and were able to fit it and sell me one for $20

Cool.... I'll check them out.

Droping the VIN thing won't work because I bought them off the board last year along with some stock wheel.
