Default Lowenhart LD5's, Zauber gettins, or L SPortlines?

Man, its hard as hell to make a rim choice when your geting ready to drop roughly 5 g's to do so. Im down to three, L Sportlines Model 1 Evos's, Zauber Gettins, and the new Lowenhart LD5's. Im looking at chrome 20's, and Im definitely looking for a fat lip, which the L Sprts dont seem to have from pics. I can get the L SPorts and the LD5's immediately, Ill have to wait about a month for delivery on the Gettins. If anyone has seen all three of these in person, your opinions would be appreciated. Thanks

I love my wheels, but if you are a "Lip Man", they may not do it for you...especially the front. I've never seen the Gettins, but I did see a CLK with 19' LD5s this weekend...very nice wheel and big lips

Like Will said, the Gettins will give you the most lip out of the three (4" rear lips). It sounds like you are a "lip lover" like myself so like GunnerMac said, the l-sportline's may not do it for you (2.75" rear lip), but it does have the DDC lip which is very classy.

I would take either the Gettin or the LSportline...Lowenharts are getting really commonplace these days.

i say get the Zauber or L-sportlines, those lowenharts are a little ghetto looking, or simply not very pretty nor classy. a 2.75" lip is pretty good in my opinion, and the lip in the zaubers are getting to the point of too much lip at times. whatever you choose though, nice choice. can't really lose any way you go

I'm in the same boat, can't pick a rim out ,too many. Just wanted to know if anyone knew how long it would take to get the L-sportsline after you order them.

Check with the CL wheel vendors...they will probably have them in stock so the wait will not be very long.

Default Big lip

Here's a picture of tinygs's Zauber Gettins - they got lip - this is one of my favorites. Hope you don't mind, tiny! I believe that tiny will only allow 1 or 2 more sets of these wheels in the continental US before he calls in "Two Finger Sam" and Vinnie the Bomb" to visit the unfortunate (late) buyer.

Default Not any more

About the number of Gettins per capita - somethings been "happening" to some of those folks - two have had unfortunate "accidents" recently and another has moved to Argentinia?? Got no idea why??

The lip on those Gettins is pretty damn big, I dont think it gets much deeper than that!

Only thing I know of happening is screwing up of Gettins.

Discount Tire took a hunk out of the lip of mine. They did offer to buy me a new one. They kind of wanted to repair it but I've had them for a couple weeks and I don't want them repaired already.

1) Does repairing the wheel weaken it?

2) What do you think they will do with the old wheel?

William, can you pm me the current price for 1 19x8.5 +43 HD?

Late.

Ryan

Tiny...let's start a Zauber mafia and control who gets em and where. Maybe godfather Manaray can help. LOL.
