Default My new wheels

What do you guys think of my Autocouture Misteres? Though I saw many Supremes on GS around but I believe I have the only set of Misteres in town.

I didn't get a chance to take pics when sun is up, so I will post more pics later. See ya!

No I did not put cotton on my hood and window trims, they're car wash foams.

Here is a close up of the wheel. I still need to get some center rings which explains why I don't have any wheel caps on.

Finally you got the rims on what took you so long? lol... The Polish cut on those AC's are awesome looking. They look very nice peter.

Man it looks empty without the center caps. I hope I do not run into that problem when my rims arrive

Btw are you going to the aug10th meet in carson?

Thanks for the compliments Eric What wheels are you getting? I so hope it was what we talked about last time at SP That will be SWEET!

Don't know if I am going to the Carson meet yet, I'll give you a call if I can make it then we can cruise there together. I just hope my wheels don't fall off before I get my center rings. hahaha

Yeah peter it was what we talked about at SP in 20's,but the boat is laggin and the wait is killing me. I had all the money for tires, springs, and struts, but I figured since they will be here in a couple of weeks I hope hehe I spent almost all of that money on a Pioneer AVH-P6400CD TV monitor head unit some other entertainment goodies.

Just give me a call before hand

SWEET!! I can't wait to see it when you put it on! Need a hand carrying the wheels to the installer?

Definitely get the center rings for your wheels too.

Accourding to the installer at Tucker (who also owns a GS400) told me because of the special lug nuts required for these wheels it is not as strong like oem lugs. Without the rings for support it will put too much stress on the lug nuts and it's a not good for fine cars like Lexus.

Yes it's 275 Dunlop 9000 on 18x9.5 and 245 SO-3 on 18x8.5 front.
The Dunlops kept getting back ordered so I got the SO-3 for the front instead. Best of both worlds.

I prefer more lip too, maybe 1~1.5" lip will do nicely but this is the biggest lip this style offer only 1/4" lip.

those are the best tires alright, but isn't that a little oversized? gs4will said oversizing isn't really a problem though, so good luck and be safe

245/40/18+275/35/18 are perfect fit.....all depends on how much "oversizing" you choose...the gen rule is to saty +/+ ~3% of stock size...

to those considering 18" tyres, yokohama usa finally released the AVS ES100(aka AVS DNA Grand Prix in JDM for 2 years), this tyre has the best of in many aspects for everyday driving..price, grips, thread wear/pattern..man we often get the good stuff slower than the rest of world...

hopefully we get to see the new stone Potanze GIII in the near future on our US soil

peter, the AC diamond cut really shines..eh

Damm you Retro... *shakes fist in air* I guess I won't be the only one with these wheels. hehe

I knew you have good taste, nice choice on tires too!

Bravo, William is right 275 R and 245 F are perfect match for 18" wheels.

Will, yep dia-cut finish is amazing!

Here is a clean shot I took this morning, the size limit does the wheel no justice. It looks so much better in 2200 resolution!
