I am looking to get a set of tires too and seem like majority have positive things to say about the Hankook Ventus V12 Evo K110. I might get them this weekend. Right now Discount Tire is having a $60 rebate promotion for a set of four (good until Nov 30th).

hankooks are an awesome tire but they have really thick sidewalls. I had a 2353020 hankook up front and it fit more like a 255 because of the side walls are designed.

haha i had the same question yesterday. and when i went to a local tire shop i asked the guy's opinion and he said they're pretty much the same but one is Japan and the other is Korean, so i went and bought the Japan which is the Falken.

Hankook without a doubt. I've had them on my Mercedes C300 for several thousand miles, excellent tire and quiet too.

I'd suggest 275/30/19 for rear tire sizing.

Well everybody is saying hankooks, but ive been running Falken's for years on all 5 of my SC's, from the 451-452 & currently running the RT-615 DOT track tire. I dont think that you can get a better performing tire for the money than this one. But then again I havent priced the hankooks, nor driven on one. 2cents. Im getting a new set this week. 235/35/19 & 275/30/19 $700 mounted OTD.

Hankooks for stretching. I have Falkens and they don't hold air. If I put 235's on
9.5's, they go flat, same with 215's on the 8.5's. But when I put 235's on the
8.5's they hold just fine. I think the Falken design is a true low profile tire with a
better rubber compound which doesn't allow the same stretch ability as, let's
say Hankooks and Nankangs. So for performance, I'd say Falken 452's, but for
low stanced vehicles that need stretch, go for the Hankooks.

Every single set of FK452's I've seen have had at least 1 tire bubble. I've seen 2 8" long bubbles. 1 of those was on a 2 day old tire.
Oh ya, none of them were stretched.
I'd stay away from them like the plague.
