Help!! chrome lip on my vossens
Hello Everyone,
When I got my rims there were very clean and I liked the polish on the lips, shiny and glossy. Now they seem to be needing some cleaning and I have used a chrome polish and took it to a few detailing shops but with no use. Could anyone recommend products that I can use to regain the original polish and ways to maintain it.
Also I am looking to get bigger profile tires than the Perelli P-zero tires with low profiles. I was thinking maybe Michellen or Yokohama. Any recommendations would be appreciated.
Here are some pics of the rear rims:
These are the front rims:
Thanks again

It could be that your lip is clear coated. It is pretty common these days. So it might be the clear that is causing the haze.
If you have no clear, then you can use mag polished as OKtxbai suggested.

They are clear coated stainless steel lips. On my Vossens I clean with a quick detailer after a wash. If the dirt is stubborn, I clay bar the lips and put some NXTon them. They come out great after I'm done. You may have damaged the clear coat with the metal polish, but I would still try what I mentioned above to see if that helps. I hope they come out okay.

j three, I havent used any metal polish yet on the rims. Only chrome polish. I used Maguires chrome polish and it gave it a little more shine, better than before but not like the original polish. Do you think Mother's chrome polish will do with a bit of buffing?

Nooooo!!!!!
No don't use that stuff!! No metal or chrome polish. Clean your wheels with car wash then use a clay bar with some detail spray as a lubricant. I do spokes and lips. After you clay, use some wax/sealant on the lips and spokes to shine and protect your wheels. Good luck buddy.
