Hey guys, I have a set of 225/45/17 snow tires, but my 17x8 OEM GS rims have 235/45/17... am I fine to put these snow tires on the rims or should I get a different set of wheels?

Hey, I just bought an '01 GS430- and it came with (aftermarket size, I BELIEVE)
--> 245/45/ZR17. The OEM size for the optional 17" wheels was 235/45's, right..like you have? Anyway- I am going to be running 17 X 7.5 wheels with 215/55/R17's on them, for my winter wheel/tire combo.... So, you should be fine with 225/45's. No problem.

You can put 225/45's on your 17 X 8" GS wheels.. no problem. (are they the 5-spoke wheels?) A lot 225/45's can be mounted on a wheel as wide as 8.5"- so you're fine.
