I just purchased a set of 16" stock Lexus chrome wheels to replace the painted ones on my 95 LS400. The wheel size is the same(16 x 7JJ) and the stampings show that they are OEM. Problem is the front chrome wheels hit the brake calipers. I have read all the posts on this forum and this seems to be a problem when changing between some rim sizes and/or different Lexus models. Some posts suggest H & R Spacers on the front or filing down the corner of the caliper. Are there any other options? Should there be an offset difference between the chrome wheels & the painted wheels? Sure need some help on this one.
