Thumbs down Be wary of Ichiba wheels studs

I've had 4 out of 10 Ichiba wheels studs pop out of place on the front of my LS. The problem is the knurl is tapered, not big enough and the metal is too soft. I have pressed them in from the back using a specific Snapon tool made for the job.
For reference I have had H&R wheels studs in the rear installed the exact same way for over a year through salty winter roads etc.. with zero issues.
I'm going to try ARP studs now.

The previous version is weaker (silver). The newer (gold) is stronger.

also remember you have to be careful when torqing down not to gun them on as the torque settings on most guns are way more than what is required. If you are using a bolt on type spacer they should be hand torqued and never over 80lbs as you may risk breaking the stud or if the spacer metal is too soft grind out the teeth causing the stud to continuously spin. But if either of those 2 problems occur they are most likely "cheaper" quality stuff. H&R are best in my book, I also love FIC Racing for thier variety in sizes and Project Kics

Can someone explain to me how a 10mm spacer is installed on a Lexus? I know with BMW's, the spacers came with longer wheel bolts. Straight forward.

But how is it done on a Lexus where there are no wheel bolts? The bolts stick out of the hub! When installing spacers, the clearance of those bolts for the wheels become less!

How does that work??

When installing only a 10mm spacer you need to install longer wheel studs and have them pressed into your hub. H&R usually comes with the longer wheel studs. Most spacers that are 15mm and up can bolt onto the hub and have their own studs pressed through like so...
