which tires are reccomended?
i am currently looking to replace my General UHP's with another set of tires. the General's were very good, especially with treadwear, but a little noisy and soft on the sidewall. i am looking to replace with one of the following, which are all comparably priced (in order of preference at the moment):
1. Sumitomo HTR Z III
2. Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110
3. Kumo Ecsta SPT
i also was considering the following 2, but reviews do not seem to back them up:
1. Yokohama S.drive
2. Hankook Ventus V4 ES H105
can anyone offer some opinions as to which one of these would be the best for ride quality and quiteness. i would guess my driving style would be more towards 'spirited', but given my wheel size(20" on a gs300awd), i am not pushing the envelope. . tire sizes will be 245/35/20(F) and 275(or 265)/30/20(R). thanks in advance

thanks RA40. i think i am still between the top 2 i have (Sumitomo and Hankook), as well as the Continental DWS's. they are all around the same price point. the Continental should wear very well and be much more quiet than the Generals i currently have, more so than any i have listed above. it's all about availability for those though. i actually called Brandon at Tire Rack, and he was quite helpfull. for the record - i have 30k miles on the Generals, with roughly 5k left on the rears. a bit more than that for the fronts suprisingly. they do get noisy about halfway through their life. that, and the softer sidewall are my only complaints for that tire. great bang for the buck. thanks again.
