rx300 in need of rims... need advise and info
I'm planning to get rims for my 99' AWD RX300, but I'm still not sure what to get. I'm thinking of around 19" - 20" rims, probably around 8.5.... So far i've seen the HRE rims, but I'm still lookin and need some advice.
Can anyone let me know what other rims can fit on the RX300? Someone told me there are some new Lsportline's for them.. and then someone else told me that its only one of the original rims that happens to match the offset. Are there any other good rims out there for my car??? any info would be greatly appreciated... thanks!

You'll need to be careful of offset on this vehicle: I can say with certainty that an 8.5" wide wheel with +35 or higher offset will contact the rear strut tubes.
So, this leaves you with:
9.0 +19 or lower (will protrude from body a little bit)
8.5 +25 or lower
8.0 +31 or lower
7.5 +37 or lower (really too narrow for any SUV tire you'd want to use)
Wheels for the 94-up Mustang are generally in this offset range (well, people use +35 to +45 on them, but it looks horrible- way to 'sucked in'!). If you use a 'universal' wheel such as this, be sure to get hub-centric rings to the steering wheel doesn't vibrate: the centerbore on this type of wheel is usually too large for the Lexus' 60mm hubs (the rings will say "60.1mm").
