Default Wheels offset

I was wondering if anybody can tell me how big and wide of a wheels i can put on my car before it start to rub or cause modification to it and the number of the off set all help will be greatly appreciated

the car is a 2000 lexus gs and yes the car will be lower i know that the height of the car is a factor of the wheels and the tires too but i just want to go as big as i can without doing little or to no modification to it at all.... thank
