... i heard this from someone i hope they can confirm or set the facts straight...

all lexus (new models) talking about the sedans here. have the same brakes (specifically the calipers)

i ask this cause i want to swap out my 5ES calipers to something better... but i dont want to throw down big $$ for a BBK. i was hoping that the 3GS would have some better front calipers that i can swap to. if they are the same, then i wouldnt try to get my hands on a set of calipers. if they are indeed better, then i'll be swapping the front calipers.

just a note: the 5ES brakes SUCK! i dont need some race/track brakes.. i want to keep everything as "stock" as possible so im not dealing with headaches of paying for high end sport rotors and pads.

i've switched the lines to SS, they help brake pedal feel, but they still suck.. i can always swap to some "sport" brake pads, but i dont want heavy dusting, squealing etc... please help.. any input is fine.
