The pressure should be on the door placard.

Didnt want to make another thread and clutter up the forums so I thought Id post my question here since it relates to tire pressure. Im running 245/35/19 and 275/30/19 tires right now and the max psi is 50. Now I was told to run 40 psi which seems really low. Can I get some help on this? Should I be at 50 psi? Also, do I need to go with a lower or higher psi in cold/hot weather?

I think 40 is about right. Do not run at 50 (max psi).

50 is for carrying maximum load, which is also stated on teh tire sidewall. 40 is about right for normal load. i run 40-42 on my 19's.

Even 40 is a little higher prob then what is on the placard, but as long as you don't go over the max on the sidewall you should be fine. Keep in mind these numbers are "cold" meaning in the moring before you have driven on them.

I'm with brandon... depending on their actual load index, you may be able to get away with lower, minimum 35... 40 is a good middle ground... 50 just makes them more prone to impact breaks (bubbles in the sidewall from hitting bumps)

I wish I had known this earlier... Ive been running 50 psi on all four tires for awhile now..

So I should just keep it at 40 psi then?
