Default wheel care

What is the best way to clean and protect your wheels especially a polished lip.Also what products has everbody found to work best for them. Another problem myself and Im sure a number of other you have is BRAKE DUST .Whats the best solution. Isnt there a product that is used to prevent the brake dust from gettig all over wheels.

Just soap and water...don't use any chemicals (unless someone else has already "experimented" with it and has had good results)...I've seen a lot of wheels get jacked up with these "wheel care" products...

I use only soap and water...
