Default What is the widest I can go with 19in on a 1st gen 90-94 LS 400?

I am going to get some 19in rims,Fabulous Profounds and I was wonder if 19x9 front and 19x10 will rub in anyway. I would prefer 19x9.5 front and 19x10.5 rear if this is possible without any fender mods.If I do need anymods what do I have to change and how much will it cost? I am planning to drop it 1in or 1 1/2 inches as well.

I would need the offsets and the recommed tire sizes with out any rubbing what so ever.

Thanks

William I will talk to you later this week.

I think you can fit a 9" and 10"...now 9.5" up front is pushing it...out back, 10.5 might be doable but you'll have to run a smaller tire...

Why only 19" though on the LS? 19's on a SC look great due to the SC's low body profile, but on a LS, I think 20's would look better...?

I just dont want to deal with the rubbing issue.Plus I my parents would kill me if I got 20's after I ruined the first set of rims from my accident.

I guess I will go with 19x8.5 front and 19x10 rear,Anybody know the right offset for the rear?

Also if i need to roll my fenders, do any of you know a place here in So.Cal and how much?

thanks

I would say 18/19/20x10 +50 is 'safe' for the rear of this car...

To be honest, I've never measured one, so I really can't say how "aggressive" you can go: I've heard the early SC and GS wheels (example 19x10 +40) sit very aggressively on the early LS.

19x9.5 front... sounds like trouble to me... what tire size would you use on that? 245/35zr19 would be terribly stretched out!

Why don't you drive that sucker down to my office in Vista (near Oceanside) or my home in Aliso Viejo (near Laguna Beach) and we'll measure that beast (uhhh... the car, not your... thingy)?

baldassbob@hotmail.com

or

bobh@hrewheels.com

This week is junk: I'm finishing some neat private-label wheels, and Chris from Toyo Tires is coming down Friday for me to measure his new A4 Avant for a set of 441Rs...

Next Tuesday (5/14/2002) I'm out of the office measuring a Maserati Spyder, Jaguar XJ220, Lamborghini Murcielago, and a widebody BMW M3- my afternoon might be open- I'll be in the Anaheim area (Platinum Motors)- what's your schedule like Tuesday?
We'll set something up somehow!
Regards,
Bob

Hey Celsior God, according to a local wheel expert, we'll able to fit 20x10 in the back with around 51 offset on our UCF10, or 45~47 offset on 20x9.5. I don't think there are many wheels out there with 51+ offset on 20x10. Anyway, try them and let me know. I am now planning to get L-Sportline Model 1 Evo or Model 4 3 pc.(20x9.5.) Also my friend is selling his used silver AutoCouture Supreme 20x8.5 and 20x10 with new tires for $2000. Which one should I get?

Heck if your not gunna take the Supremes I will, hehe.I wont get my car measured until next tuesday and thats if Bob has time. For exhausts I would go with quads very VIPish.

20x9 in the front with 38~40 offset is good. If the car is lowered, I think go with 38 offset. BTW, shall I really go with the AutoCouture?
