Default how to tell if a wheel is used or new?

hi. im just wondering how its possible to tell if a set of chrome wheels are new or used? is it possible to have a used set of chrome wheels thats been driven around for 3000miles without a single knick, scratch, or swirl mark when viewed at every single possible angle after the wheels have been taken off the car? what distict markings would a 'used' chrome wheel have?

also, is it hard to take apart a 3pc or 2pc wheel? thanks.

Used wheels will always have some kind of mounting marks on the drum. (tire must be off to see them obviously. There will also be tape residue from the wheel weights, though it could be removed.

Is it possible to have a wheel like that? Of course. Chrome, especially if done right, is near bullet proof.
