Im in a dilemma. Im going to the track tomorrow to see what i can run.

I have fk452's on my stock 16 inch sc300 wheels, i noticed my 1-2 shift i can easy chirp it. good or bad?

I just put on my spare beater wheels. 16x9 supra stocks w/ riken raptors. I cant even chirp 1-2 anymore. It just sounds it grabs and goes with a little spin. good or bad?

For the track. Which one do you guys reccomend using?

Not sure if chirping is a good sign or bad sign or no traction. But I need to get all your inputs on which set of rears wheels to use. I wanna get the best 1/4 time i can get. Thanks all! will post up time slips tomorrow!

I'm not very familiar with either tire but I would guess the wider tire on the supra rim would be the best bet. How about you bring both to compare?

unless I missed a post where you did a swap or turbo'd the car, its probably not gonna matter too much...

wider is typically better, but neither one of those tires are what I'd consider good performance tires...

FYI... Riken = Michelin

wouldnt recommend either tire for track purposes...

if you want something track/street... go for Nitto NT-05.. Falken RT-615... etc the 615 tend to grease so watch out for that if u get em..

really have no choice for tires just besides those 2. ended up going with the rikens. and hitting 15.2. tires were crap..

I did Rikens at the track and considering the price, they held up well. I am impressed with the tire. A lot of guys use Rikens as a cheap track tire.

Track and street: Nitto Invo, Toyo Proxies T1R, Michelin PS2

Falken 452 are not track tires, just for looks.
