Default Bridgestone replacement

In Canada, Lexus has offered to replace the standard 17" Potenza RE040. Has anyone taken advantage. What is the replacement tire?

Kurt.

What's the consensus opinion of the RE040? I think they are pretty slippery; they don't seem to bite.

I'm in California, and at my local lexus they replaced my bridgestone potenza's with the same thing only he said that instead of contstructed 1-ply they are 2-ply. It's true they're not the best tires in the world, but that's fine, they were brand-new and free.

They are actually very good tires. They stick really well. If you look on www.tirerack.com you'll see that they are the highest (or close to the highest) rated tires offered in our size.

Most people would LOVE to have a set for themselves.
