SC300 lowered with +35mm 18" wheels
So I changed my rear Toyo TR1 265-35-18 to Vredestein Sessanta(same size). I came to realize that these tires are a little beefier than Toyo. My toyo tires had a slight rubbing issue that was not much of issue so I felt that rolling my fenders was not needed. Not too long ago, I switched to Vredestein and realized that these tires rub a whole lot more than my Toyo tires. I had a passenger in the back of my car the other night and after a night of driving, I smelled nothing but burned rubber, and noticed that my right rear tire has been eaten up by my fender.
By the looks of the pictures, do I need to buy a new tire or is there still plenty of rubber on the sidewall to deem my car safe? I will be getting my rear fenders rolled before I put another passenger in the rear.
