Default Questions about 19s

Hi,

I just had 19s mounted on my 2008 IS250. I have some questions to ask my fellow CL members.

1. What's the proper tire pressure to have in these tires?
Tires: 225/35/29 and 255/35/19
Michelin Pilot Sport PS2. I live in Texas, so it's pretty much hot year round

2. I did notice when turning the steering wheel feels a bit heavier. Is this because of the wider rear tires and the "sticky" feeling from the tires?

Thanks

tire pressure should be 32-34 psi as a general minimum... not a bad idea to bump them up a couple... best thing to do, find out where you are right now and maybe bump them up a couple psi... fair possibility that they are a little lower than they should be which is what may be causing your heavier steering feel...

I checked before doing a test drive, they are 35-38psi.

I'd say stay around there then... thats not bad... you could drop it a little or raise it a little as you like - how they feel will be the biggest factor...

Gotcha, I may raise the 35 a little bit since it'll probably drop pretty fast. These are my first "Michelin Pilot Sport PS2". After doing a ton of research on here and tirerack, I decided to give these a try. Only thing that concerns me is the threadware, we'll see how they go. As for everything else, they feel great and are really quiet, but that's probably because they are brand new. Hopefully they'll stay like that for awhile.

after getting f-sport wheels, car feels more stable, feels like it "sticks" to the ground more. however, car does feel a bit more sluggish. I guess this is normal for 19s? Even though I thought Forged meant lightweight?
