All Season vs Summer Tire
Hello, I would like some input regarding an upcoming Tire Rack purchase. I will be going with larger diameter wheels for my car, and I wanted to know if I should get summer tires and put the factory (all-season) setup back on during the cold months, OR get all-season tires to fit the larger wheels and keep them on all year. I live in NYC and I was somewhat leaning towards getting summer tires and swapping the stocks as needed, but I may reconsider.
Additionally, is the "Road Hazard" program worth the investment? I've done all sorts of research and I've read many stories. Any solid input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

Get all season tires for the new rims AND STILL put the factory rims on during the winter. If NYC's winters are anything like chicago, then you dont want salt eating at your nice rims, nor do you want the potholes making bent rims...
