i'm running kumho's ecstas on the gs now, they were real cheap as i recall. not a lot of road noise, nice ride, not tons of grip like a performance tire but enough to keep the car happy.

I run Falken Ziex 512's on my daily driver (Acura TL). They are fairly decent tires in terms of price, function, and wear.

You should buy the best tire that fits your budget...
In my budget, the best cheap tire is what I currently have, the Bridgestone RE050's... Definitely not the cheapest tire, but cheaper than it's most comparable tire, the Pilot Sport PS2...
So, it is real hard to say... there are definitely some deals to be had out there...
