Default How much should I ask for my tires ?

I bought a 2006 GS300 from Lexus and they installed 4 new Bridgestone Protenza RE050A Ultra high performance tires 225/50/17 on.
I put about 200 miles on them and upgraded to a different tire and size.

Tirerack sells them for $192.00 each.

What would be a fair price for all four ?

One guy on craigslist offered me $250.00 for all four.

Just tires or with rims too? I'd think more than $250 for sure... $400?

Tires only. So are you saying that $400.00 would be with or without rims ?

600$ is more then fair IMO. I am selling tires also for the same reason. 500$ is the lowest I would go in your situation.

give it some time its winter now and demand will pick up come spring.

$400 tires only. With rims I'd say $600.

so for tires with 200 miles on them they are worth 50% or less then what they cost new

500$ - 600$ for these tires is fair. I wouldnt see the benefit to sell the tires for 400$ plus your time to ship them or transport them. Keep them at this point Better to hold them in your garage and slap them on the car when you sell if you ask me.

Good luck with that. I've sold like-new tires several times in the past. About 40-50% of the Tire Rack price is the absolute best you can expect.

+1 on the keep them and put them back on the car when you sell it! I am also selling a set of Dunlop DS1's Snow tires that have maybe 1500 miles on them and am asking $350 for them on craigslist. Some guy offered me $200 for the set of 4....NOT
