Default Painted -> Polished?

I have a set of Works with a bit of curb rash that I am planning to have repaired once I get a new set of wider, more protective rubber.

Has anyone had painted wheels polished or machined instead of repainted/repowdercoated? Any pics before/after would be appreciated!

No one, huh? Well, I'll try to remember to dig this thread up when I get mine done. Or maybe no one cares but me? :P
