Default tire choice

My IS250 need to replace the front tire becasue of the needle on the sidewall. The local Discount tire tried to sell me the Goodyear Engle F1 A/S and Engle GT. I remember tire rack carry the new Bridgestone RE760 Sport.
I know Mich PS2 is great but out of my budget

Is anyone used any of those tires? Also, Is it bad to use different brand on front and rear? Should I replace all 4?

Please give me some suggestion.

Thanks

Please...please replace all 4 at the same time with NEW matching tires...it has been discussed many many times as to why you should always do it this way, and if your car is the AWD model, you have to. Symmetrics would not let your tires spin with the same resistance and it will ROYALLY screw your AWD system.

If your car is the RWD model, it still isnt adviseable...

It is not that critical that all 4 tires match... it's the best option, but not required unless the vehicle is AWD... the car in question is RWD, so, it really doesn't matter... If not replacing all 4, I would highly recommend replacing at least a pair, and rotating them to the rear (if you have the same size all around), if you have different sizes front/rear, then just replace the fronts...

one thing that is crucial is to replace the tire with the same performance rating (H, V, Z, etc) and style of tire (all season, summer, winter, etc)

That all being said, the RE760 is a great inexpensive tire... almost put them on my car, but ended up getting the better RE050's
