Default Best place to buy stoptech bbk replacement rotors

Anybody know somewhere that has good prices on replacement rotors for stoptech bbk? Only place I could find is ZechausenRacing.com and they wanted $325 per side. I have the 355 x 32 ST-40 kit. Any help would be appreciated

Rich

Do you want to replace the full rotors or just the external rings (it IS two piece for just that reason!)

Some of the folks my wife races with use this place to get the rings for their rotors and have been happy with them

Thanks for the link dave and the advice Henry. The only thing about the racingbrake site is they dont have the cross drilled rotors, which is what I will need to match the rear. I do only need the outer rings. I am going to have the local shop turn the rotors first but I wanted to have a set on hand just in case something happened. I will contact stoptech to see what other options I have

thanks again for the help guys

yeah you hardly have to change the hat, that's always reusable. you just change the ring and you SHOULD also change the bolts. that's what i got

well i don't have my ls460l anymore, sold it a while ago but yeah

gs400 - ap racing
sc430 - stoptech
ls460l - brembo

trust me in terms of buying replacement parts, stoptech is the cheapest!

I saw the pics of the LS, beautiful ride, sorry to go OT but why did you sell it, that was probably the most perfect LS I have seen, and I was shocked to see you went with the red calipers

Good info, I just purchased a set of Stoptechs they are amazing thus far but the stock pads seems to leaves A LOT of brake dust which takes forever to buff off my wheels...

Where do you guys buy the replacement pads?

Also I have the ST-40 caliper with a 332mm rotor, is it possible to replace the 332mm to a 355mm if I ever decide to change?

Thanks

also talk to stoptech, they have 2-3 grades of pads, you probably have the dusty aggressive one. change to the mild one, it's sooo much better on dust and they are not as aggressive on the rotors. that's what i used

you have to ask stoptech about the rotors, my guess is no, coz' the bracket is probably different?

Ok I did some research and I found out that my kit came with a track-pad which explains the high level of dust...I'll have to call Stoptech up tomorrow...Thanks!

I used axxis pads but not sure which ones, but the dust is very minimal. I agree with henry that you probably wont be able to upgrade to 355mm. Still havent found a better place to get the replacement rotors.
