Tires can get expensive....
I have 37k miles on my stock tires and because of an alignment issue 2 tires are pretty shot at the sidewalls so I decided to just go ahead and change all 4 tires. I went to tirerack and researched and in the end I decided to go with the Michelin Primacy MXV4's which were priced at $139/tire so i decided to go to Town Fair Tire and their price was $160/tire but they didnt have a mounting fee or shipping charge so it was a wash price wise. Since I have an alignment issue I had them charge me for a 4 wheel alignment. With all said and done the price for 4 tires + balancing + alignment + stems + disposal fee the whopping amount came to $780. I thought the most I would spend on 4 tires would be $500. I hope these last for the 60k they are rated for but we all know what the truth is, most tires dont last their rated interval.
FYI, I have a 2006 ES330. Thank for reading my big paragraph. It was good venting.

hah... if I paid retail for my tires, I'd be in trouble... thank god for employee pricing...
Tire Racks prices are:
rears: $328 / tire
fronts: $250 / tire
That's $1220.57, and that's not including mounting and balancing or alignment...
Again, thank god I work in the industry... Bridgestone takes care of us
