Default Tire Help on 20" wheels

I have a 2006 GS300. I'm getting 20" MRR Wheels soon. Can you suggest a tire that gives me the most bang for the buck?

I'm looking for something in the price range of Kumhos.

Federals SS595 are under $100 and its an awesome tyre. If your looking for something even cheaper but not too risky try the Sunny SN3800 hope this helps.

you are kidding right???

I have not found one person (in real life) that is happy with those tires... everything from rough ride to lack of traction, to premature separation/failure...

all season or summer? i can say the toyo proxes 4 (all season) gives tremendous value for what it is, it costs ~175/tire. also, i THINK yokohama has a summer tire somewhere in the range of the toyo p4, i'm pretty sure it was a summer tire, but don't quote me.

additionally, unless you're selling your car asap, you shouldn't skimp on your tires. no matter what you have in or on your car, the only thing that touches the road are your tires. you don't have to go all out, but leaning towards companies who have reputations (and warranties) to uphold is an important element. no offense to knexx, but *for the most part* you do get what you pay for.

"you can skimp on accessories, but never on necessities."
[you can quote me on that ]
