Default What kind of Work wheels are they?

Does anyone know what kind of Work wheels these are?

At first I thought they're VS-XX but then the center portion and patterns are a bit different. (round shaped center portion v. multi-edged ones).

They're 18 x 8s in size w/ 38mm offset. One rim has a 18-20' inch curb rash.

Could anyone tell me what's a reasonable price to buy them for?

Thanks!

Jon

Those are Work Vs Mx. Discontinued around 2002 by Work. I had a set of 19" before:

Second thought...... are you sure they are WORK (even tho the center cap and the label stated so)? I took a closer look and they look like the Gewalt (made by Arrow Enterprise)Type M 3 pieces which I had on my 97' SC before. There is only on rivet in between the narrow spoke.

I guess i really LOVE those mesh wheels before....

Thanks guys.

GSXOTIC:

Thanks! Nice wheels you've got there!

But the ones you sold had 9 spokes and the ones shown in the picture had 10 spokes.... hmmm...

DAMN............. I feel so bad.... I have never had trouble identify a wheel before. Now I just take another closer look on your post, the valve stem is separated from the rivets. Work and Arrow Enterprise often use one of the rivet opening for valve stem (much cleaner look)! You can see it from the Vs Mx and the Gewalt Type M..... I guess I need to find out what those are.....

As to the price, one of the link was to the 18" gewalt sale thread. i think at least below $750 is a good price (of course, I am cheap.... lol)

Oh Snap!!!

Now I like these Gewalts better than the Works I posted.

Will they fit my SC430 though?

Are they also three piece wheels like the Work VX ones?

Jon,

They will fit but won't look good on SC430 unless you will run spacer. Of course just my .02. When I had my SC430 I was running 19x9 +23 and 19x10 +23. So you definitely need spacer to push the wheels out. If that set of Gewalt is indeed the one i owned before, feel free to PM me for the history (not sure if the problem was fixed)

Can anyone tell me what those wheels are?

GSXOTIC,

Thanks for your help!

I guess I was wrong about what looks good on the SC430 and what not. I know the stock offset is around 45mm or so, and those Gewalt wheels had 38mm offset. Should I go with an even more aggressive setup for the SC430?

When you had the SC430, did you ever have problems with not being able to mount the TPMS on the aftermarket rims? I was told that most of three-piece rims won't be compatible with mounting the TPMS but the one-piece ones will. I wonder if it's true...

What do you think about Work Euroline XR with the following spec: F: 18x8.5+32 R: 18x9+38. Would I be able to use my stock 245 tires with them?

Thanks again!

This is the Work Euroline XR I am referring to.

Sorry if it turns out to be something else... I am still learning my way around...
