Default Tire Question

I am getting new wheels soon and I am in need of new tires but don't want to spend a killing for them. What I really need is something that will last long with good tread wear. I don't really care that much for performance as I do not race. This is for my daily driving from home to work. What tires do you guys recommend that won't put a big hole in my wallet and will last long.

I did a search and some say General Exclaim UHP others say Falken FK452.

By spending a couple extra bucks on tires, you get safer, better stopping, more comfortable, etc... seriously consider putting something quality on your car...

Well, nothing in those sizes will last a real long time. The longest will be the General Exclain UHP.

Ah good call, the rear size is backorder from BS/FS with no eta though. But if he can wait those would be a better choice.

Have you noticed that BS/FS and Michelin alike have had lots of stuff on backorder, especially the high performance stuff?
