R.U. IN AW?

Hey Fam,

I've tried to hold off, but I can't take it anymore. Did anyone else here get on their groupbuy? Have you even received your wheels yet? Well, I jumped on this groupbuy and I'm having trouble getting my set. I'm going to lay it out for you.

I purchased my wheels on March 25th. ordering the R-55's in full chrome 20x9 and 20x11, but they couldn't do a 11 wheel, so I agreed to a 10.5. It was explained to me that it was going to be 6-8 weeks out as in all the wheels ordered thru this gb would have the same waiting period. On May 15. I receive a call from Joseph saying that my wheels were in and that they were going to be shipped to Florida. I should be getting my set within a week. All siced up, I'm looking forward to my wheels right? Well, at the end of May I'm told that my set wasn't even on that particular container and that they were trying to get me a true shipment date. Let's move a little further down the road, we're in the middle of June and what do they do, they finally send me my set. Well low and behold, that set belonged to someone in Cali., and that they sent my set to him. So I'm thinking okay anyone can make a mistake, but damn sending two sets to two different addresses! I couldn't believe it, so I wait patiently.... throughout all the bs that they gave me and they had the nerve to tell me that UPS was at fault yada yada yada. Now mind you, I would ALWAYS initiate the phone call to them, leaving messages and a phone number to return my call. Sometimes even being ignored.

I finally receive my rear wheels in the middle of July, that's right in the middle of July and only a pair of wheels not the whole set. Well, that isn't all fam, I just received my 3rd wheel this past Tuesday Aug 5. Yup so now that summer is almost over, I may just receive that final wheel. I call everyday, that they even recognize my voice!!! I called again today and was told that they're expecting two shipments coming in this week. Mind you this was said to me last week! I just wanted to know if there was anyone else going thru the same BS I'm going through?

Thanks for letting me vent, I feel a little better now. But I'm still P'Oed..... and before anyone ask, I've already tried to get my money back but me being kind hearted kept giving them chances to make good of their end. Thanks for listening, and yes I've already discussed this with DaveGS4! Thanks again Dave....

Did you deal with Sevas directly or through a 3rd party?

I thought Sevas were made and assembled in the states?

I dealt with Sevas directly...... man had I known that they were made in the states I wouldn't have given them so many opportunities to make good on their end. Thanks for letting me know that though.......

I don't think they are made in the states. From what I've been told, the one piece wheels and components of their multipiece wheels come from China. The multi piece wheels are then put together here. Sevas can step in and correct me if I'm wrong since they are a CL member.

Dang.... all of this drama since May?? You have every right to be PO'ed. I know I would be. You ordered new wheels to rock for summer and now it's almost over. I hope Sevas steps in to make things right for you.
