Default Goodyear Assurance TripleTread-Anyone have them?

first off, allow me to state my priorities: Road Noise...a MUST NOT HAVE. the Bridgestone potenza EL400's i currently have are acceptable, however, very worn and are starting to get louder. my other priorities are Winter traction (2-3 feet of snow at a time in Northern NY) and Long Tread Life, in that order. I like the tripletread because of it encompasses all of these qualities, but i have never ridden in a car that has them, and im VERY picky about road noise, i cant stand it. minimizing it is a must.

i found i can get a set online for $114 per tire in the size 205-55-16. good price and good tire? yay or nay?

Why not the Assurance Comfort Tread? Those are also good, have a long tread life and are designed to be very quiet.

are they decent in the snow? or are they going to yield lower traction after my first season, i really cannot find too much info on either tire, i was going to go with the triple tread over the comfortread purley for looks, but looks are not at all a priority for me, and it appears as if the comfortread is cheaper. now i have a question for you which i will PM you Brandon. TY for your help.

EDIT: You my friend, have an email.

I've been happy in all types of weather with Nokian WRG2.

one thing that bothers me about the comfortread is the RASH of bad reviews. seems alot of people have had problems with belt separation and road noise...a suprising amount of road noise...im about to say screw it and continue with my philosophy of spending $70 a tire on Falkens that only last 30,000 miles, cause i know they are quiet the entire time i have them and they deliver awesome traction.
