Default Damni, tire problems here

Ok so here is the deal. I got myself a brand new set of IS350 rims. I had Pirelli P Zero Roso tires from a little while ago in my garage 225/40/18 all 4. So I decided to mount them on the IS350 rims. Now I obviously stretched the rear tire a little bit, maybe, the rears are only .5" wider than the fronts. The stock tire size on the IS is 225 / 40 front, and 255 / 40 rear.

Well, I get out on the road, and I get sick humming noise from the tires, almost like I can feel the tread blocks individually. I have 32psi all around. The rims are brand new, the tires are 9/32 tread remaining, everything is balances and allignment is also 2 week old.

Can anyone suggest what the culprit is. I am talking about really good tires. These go for $250 a peice brand new. Just throwing them out is not something I want to do.

Thanks all in advance.

just because there is a lot of tread on the tires doesn't really mean a whole lot... any wear that is there might be uneven, which will easily cause the type of noise you are complaining about...

easy test - run your hand across the inner edge of the tire and the outer edge of the tire, first one direction, then the opposite direction... if one way feels smooth, and the other way doesn't, then you have cupping or heel/toe wear, and will make all kinds of noise... nothing really wrong with the tire or the setup, just uneven wear...

if its smooth both directions on all 4 tires, then, ya got me...
