I have gotten 28k out of my stock Potenza Re050 tires. I am thinking about going with T1Rs. Does anyone have this on their 2IS? I've been hearing I'm only going to get around 10k mile with them. Is that true? I want something that'll last me around the same as the Potenzas did. Thank You in advnace. I tried to search but could not find how long the T1Rs lasted for people on this forum.

there's so many impacting factors to consider. how low are you, how much camber do you have, alignment, etc.

i have them on my 2GS on 19's. i would imagine they should last at least 1-2 years depending on driving habits. i drive slammed on them...but then i take them off every couple of months and swap w/my stox.

You are not gonna like the T1R's performance in comparison to the 050's... a new T1R might handle as well as a wore out 050, but new 050 vs new T1R... no comparison.... the 050 is a much better handling tire across the board...
