Default Yokohama S Drives

Anyone has experience with these tires? Good? Bad? Weak? Strong?

Are the sidewalls strong like the Falken 452s??

Good enough to stretch the tires?

Thank you!!

I just installed some but don't have many miles...about 200 at this point. Impressions thus far on a typical set-up: 18x8.5, 245/40 size. Quiet, softer sidewall than the BFG KDW-2 that were previously on the car. Handling is not as sharp feeling on turn-in. It seems all around softer than the BFG's.

For me, I seriously desired a quieter tire. I'm not taking the barge through twisties often so the usual cruising I do I like them so far. Cost is quite reasonable also.

What size tire and rim are you considering to stretch them on?

I dunno if I'd call it "weak", it's certainly a more compliant tire. You may want to call and speak with one of the Yokohama techs.
