Default Rubbing Tires.. Dangerous??

Hey guys

Tires have some rub damage. Some scrapes on the tread and 1 one the sidewall.

Will this seriously effect the integrity of the tires?

I don't think the tread is much to worry about other than you are losing tire life. The sidewall rubbing sounds real dangerous though. There is a reason why people who get tires plug can't plug sidewalls-- it's too dangerous.

i lowered my car...drove around for two days...noticed that the tires were rubbing the fender liner...looked at the tires, saw scratch marks...raised them up, got rid of fender liner...no problem since

it becomes an issue if it causes the tire to overheat, or if it wears down significantly into the tire...

What is it rubbing on? if you are just hitting the fender then its going to damage that and take off the paint. How often does it rub?? any pics??

From what I was told by a tire place is you have a minimal chance for it to damage the tire. But the right speed, angle, ect...anything can happen! If you are rubbing I would just eliminate the trouble spot on your car to be safe. I had to do this on my car! Roll fenders and a few mods!
