3" lip w/ these wheels
someone just placed an order for these 3-piece veilside wheels 19x9 (80mm lip = 3.15inches) ,19x10 (93mm lip = 3.66 inches) , black face, high polish lip, silver rivets.

actually they are strong enough for a pot hole. These have to pass the Japanese Alloy Wheel Association standards to be sold in japan. (Similar to TUV)

still think its weak
the japanese regulations on the strength of the wheels are not as tough as in germany. unless they are forged, i think they can bend just as easily as any other japanese wheel. just my .02
