20x8.5 ET15 on ES330
After rolling on my Axis Mod 19x8 ET45 Front ET40 Rear for some time now, I've decided to upgrade. I'm trying to run Axis Orden 20x8.5 ET15 all the way around. I'm looking at the front, and it looks like a 1.44inch extends outward. Now I know I'm prolly going to have to roll my fenders. I'm already dropped with negative camber, but I'm thinking I might have to go more negative and some stretched tires. What size tires to go? 225/35/20 safe? does anyone have a pic of 225/35/20 on a 8.5in wide rim? I don't want it to look too stretched. Also, anyone have experiences with shaving rims for higher offset? Thanx

North phoenix. No I didn't full load the shocks, but if I did I would think the top of the wheels would tuck in more. Well I'm going to get some tires mounted on it and we shall see how it goes.

Hi 05ES330. How is this project going? Any pics to share with us? I'd really like to see a side view of your car. I am planning on dropping my car on the tanabe NFs too. According to this thread you had 20 inch rims, but your signature says 19, any reason you changed your mind? Thanks!

I had 19 Axis Mod wheels on my car with a 3" lip in the rear. I just got my 20's on not too long ago. Its a crazy nearly stupid offset. The rear rubs quite a bit, I'm going to roll my fenders as soon as I get a chance. Search for my posts 05ES330 under advance search and you'll find pics of my car with 19" Mods on them with Tanabe springs. I have pics of the 20's just didn't upload yet. Oh BTW, the springs are like 250+ now. I bought for cheap back then, I guess no one wanted them?

hmmm, I agree with Pure, needs to be lowered a bit more. I am still deciding between the DFs and the NFs. Can't wait to see it after you are officially done.
Please excuse my ignorance guys, I'm still new to this, but what does it mean to roll your fender and what is a camber?

camber: negative the camber so the top of the wheel sticks in towards the body. When you lower a car, it tends to have a negative camber.
Rolling fender: If you feel the bottom of the fender on your front and rear you will notice a difference. The front seems to be rolled a little bit from the factor. But if you feel the rear it has a flat horizontal lip that the tires hit.
As far was which springs. I tossed and turned about this one too. I was going to get the TEIN complete suspension for a Camry and try the fitment, but couldn't justify wasting the money if it didn't work. If you want something close to a stock ride go with the NF. If you want slammed, go with the DF.
I don't know if these will help but here's a couple of links for you.
