Default Stretching Safety...

I am running 20x8.5 and 20x10...

Currently I am running 245/285. The 285s are way beefy so I will definitely get the 275s next.

What is a recommended tire width for the stretch look?

225/265?

Also, how unsafe is this? I drive aggressively once a week.

Thanks,
Jason

I'm mainly concerned about the rear tire.

Its currently 285/30R20 and it looks so meaty. Like bacon wrapped sausage inside hagas smothered pork rids drizzled with black pudding.

Not sure if even the 275/30R20 will make it look more Kate Moss slim.

You should be ok w/ 275, anything lower than that I wouldn't recommend. W/ a stretched look go w/ falken's or toyo's...I have 285's on my 10's and I would not change it at all, plus I think they look just right. Dont know why anyone would want stretched tires. Just doesn't cover enough rims to protect the outter lip form curbs..

What ever you do, just dont make it look like this please!!

if you want stretched, you need to go to at least a 245. i ran 255's and 265's on my 10" rear wheels and they barely stretched. a 245 is a minor stretch, 235 would be optimal, 225 works if you can get them seated.
not sure why you want stretched tires if you drive aggresively though. stretching is for us vip guys who roll slow and low...

oh for the front... i had 9" fronts' and had 225's, which was a moderate stretch. on a 8.5 it would be pretty square with 225's. look for 215's.
