Winter tires anyone? Choosing between Blizzak WS60 and Revo 1
I live in the Seattle area, and while it doesn't snow much around here (3-4 times a year), I've been going skiing fairly regularly and my LS400 is a death trap in the snow. Time to invest in some snow tires.
I'm debating between the Bridgestone Blizzak WS60 and the Blizzak Revo 1. Anyone have experience with either of these tires, and care to comment? Especially if you've got an RWD vehicle.
Thanks!

About two months ago I put some Hankook W409 snows all the way around on my '06 GS430 and couldn't be happier with them.
I live west of Denver, we've had two good snows and I rarely slip a tire and haven't even used the Snow switch yet.

I have REVO 1's on my FWD Corolla. Great tire here in Ottawa, Canada( lots of snow). I just bought tires for my new 08 IS250 and decided on the WS60. Only 600 Km on them so far, but I am very pleased with them. Seem to grip well and are fairly quiet on clear roads.( Revo's are discontinued , the WS60's are current model) Hope that helps.

You made the right choice. I went with a set of Blizzak WS60 on my GS4 in early Dec after reading Tire Rack's winter tire road test report. Those babies are like suction cups and on top of it they are so quiet. Previously my car was all over the road on the all season tires with just slight snow. Now I take my GS out in all weather condition. Those Blizzaks WS60 are absolutely the best.

Both are great tires, however, the WS-60's the better of the two. The Revo is being replaced due to its lack of deep snow traction. Its ice side was strong but people complained it didnt do as well in the snow. The 60's have the best ice/snow combo of any Blizzaks I've seen.
