SC400 Snow Tire Question

Although the tire web sites insist that you use 4 snow tires, has anyone used only 2 on their Sc400 on the rear drive axle? If so, what were your results?

It will help with accelerating from a stop, but your car will suffer from turning and braking. I'd just shell out another 200 bucks for the front. I am running blizzaks on my blitz 16 inchers and they have been great so far.
