Just wondering if anyone on this forum has run 245/50/16 tires on their stock 16X6.5in. wheels. I know with a tire this wide it would be better to have a 7 in. wide wheel but I was kind of hoping to go wider than the 225/55/16. I tried a search and did not come up with any confirmation. Any input would be greatly appreciated. I have a set of 18x8.5 in MOMO wheel with 245/45/18 Michelin Pilot sports. They came with these tires brand new. I would have preferred a 245/40/18 but I have never had any issue with rubbing. My car is pretty much bone stock. I have a 98 Supra T.T. 6spd, targa that is my toy.
