Default Lowenhart, Dazz or L-Sportline???

ok im going to forget about he work wheels for my black sc430. i do like the Work Euroline LS but the spokes look really flat to me. and i dont really like it when people can see my brakes too much.

so i asked around and lee and came up with a few other wheels, but they cost at least 1k more. here they are in no specific order:

1)Dazz Maido LS5
2)L-Sportline Model II
3)L-Sportline Model IV
4)Lowenhart LR5
5)Lowenhart LS1

As you can see, i like the star style wheels with some rivits. I will also be lowering the car. which one of these has the largest lip? thanks for any info on these wheels...BTW all of these except the LS1 will be in chrome....The chromed version of the Lowenhart LS1 is the LR5 right? Also, all will be 20's stag setup. TIA

I really like the L-Sportline Model IV's, just wish they came in 18's.

I know this is an old thread but I was wondering if someone (manaray, lee2375, gs4will) can tell me if the Work Euroline LS and the Madio LS5 are the same wheel?? They look DAMN close, same tear drop bolt hole and everything. It's not like Madio (Dazz) hasn't slapped their caps on other wheels before.

TIA,

Josh

Josh,

very good EYES.... i would say 85-90% they are the same rim, the tear drop/aka DDC is a work exclusive...work makes many takechi wheels(hart, dazz, l-sports), so tthey could be the same rim...if so, i would want the WORK ctr cap on my rim...esp the eurolines are not expensive, relatively speaking

Sorry William, I didn't even see that you replied to my question. Thanks. I would want the Work center cap also, I just like to find out which wheels Dazz slaps their cap on. When I found out the Dazz Camus was dis-continued I tried to find out what other wheel was not being offered at the same time, but with no luck.

I didn't really think the bolt holes were considered DDC. I thought it was just where the outer rim bolts to the inner part of the wheel. So Work has that design "patented"?? I guess you can read Work's webpage better than me.

josh,

no problem man....the DDC/tear drop shaped bolts on the expensive rims are made mostly by WORK of japan...though iam not sure if they have the feature patented.. however, the ddc will make the lip depth a but smaller..
