What are Type A, B, C, D, E Tires?
OK, in section 6.1 of the owner's manual ( I have attached the section) it lists 5 different tire configurations for the car.
I am assuming the following:
Type A = IS250 RWD (std)
Type B = IS250 RWD (option)
Type C = IS250 AWD (std)
Type D = IS350 RWD (std)
(Same as Type B but with a higher speed rating)
Type E = IS250/IS350 RWD (option)
Anyone else know? I'm looking at winter tire sizing and Lexus says not to deviate from OEM tire sizes, the dealerships in Toronto are all saying that 225/45/17 all around is the way to go (Type C)
Need some help here folks...

Looks like I may have nailed down the tire sizes, does anyone know if the different models use different speedometers?
IS250 RWD vs. IS250 AWD vs. IS350 RWD?
IS250 RWD vs. IS250 AWD vs. IS350 RWD?
