Damn Manaray that is a ***** load of chrome on those wheels.. Like the major lip on them as well.. Any idea what kind of offset are on those wheels??
BTW is that 19" up front and 20" in the rear.. Gives a rakish look to the SC.. Hmmm..

NO NO NO NO...AutoCouture is NOT a Division of Giovanna...the IDIOTS that work Giovanna's booth like to tell people that...they also tell people that they own the forging compay FOMP APP. Which is why all their wheels are *****ty cast wheels...yeah, right...They're IDIOTS.
AutoCouture is part of the EVOLUTION company in Japan. Evolution also owns the names "Exclusive", "Signature", "Explosion", etc...
Check out www.evolution.co.jp/autocouture
Giovanna just has a deal with them in terms of IMPORTATION. But from my understanding, it's not exclusive. Meaning someone else can import for AutoCouture too...Avanche USED to be the importers but they SUCKED. They never got the name out and they never sold much (probably because they marked it up like 10000%)
Dunno if Giovanna is going to "push" the brand name here in the US...

oh, all i know is that I picked up a duPont Registry magazine and i saw a full page advertisement for AutoCouture and it said it was a branch of Giovanni. I'll have to look up the ad again. THamks for the info though.

Sometimes they just license them to use their names. i.e. BF Goodrich doesnt even make tires anymore...I believe Michelen makes them for BF. In the case of the rims its often a way of selling cheaper rims and associating a "better name" I know rims like ASA are made by someone like BBS or CEC, I dont know if thats the right one, but there are simply licensed by some more prestigous rim manufacturer

futuregs - Hmmm, I just flippin' through the DuPont Reg and I didn't see it...must of missed it! Can you scan it in by any chance? I'd love to see it!
LexusSC430 - Actually, I think it's the other way around...some lower end companies get the higher end companies to make the wheels for them. Most of the wheel companies don't make their own wheels...
