Need Help with Plus size tires and rims!!!!
Okay, today i purchased some rims and tires for my sisters car, i decided to go with 17's and low profile tires.
SPECS:::::::
RIM: 17x7
TIRE: 205x40x17
Now the previous set of tires were
RIM: 16x6
TIRE: 205x50x16
SOOO you ask?
well once i got these new tires put on WOW, (is all i can say), the ride is SOO much stiffer, the ride is SOO much NOSIER, and the freeway does not help the situation out at all, it feels like im in one of those beds that vibrate that we all see on TV when you put a quarter in, hahha, so that being said
I AM CONSIDERING, of putting a similar setup on my car but now im soo wondering if im gonna have the same prob......
i wanted to put....
RIMS: Front, 20x8.5/ Rear, 20x9.5
Tires: Front, 245x35x20/ Rear, 275x30x20
SO please help me solve this problem, will the ride on the GS be as harsh or noisy like my sisters car, OHH and i am going to drop it 30 mm all around

new wheels
i would first recommend trying to purchase from a local store, this way if you have a vibration problem the people you buy them from can take care of you all the way through. i dont think the mailman is a certified tire balance expert.
also check out this site for any fitment questions. www.sizeitup.com
great site for tire / wheel fitments
