The 245/25 will have a bigger sidewall, but not by much. Tire brand is actually a preference, and can differ by the person you are talking to. Do a little research on this section, you will find different reviews on different brands by our members. Just remember what you want. Quietness, performance, wet grip and thread life are just some of the factors that will affect your decision.
Good luck!

Im running the 17s with 245/45s, ride is good..good enough since I have a drop.
If you want some good but cheap tires, go with Kumho, they are pretty good. If you want some cheaper tires, but still ok, go with the general exclaims, they are good also. Toyo proxies are good, no doubt, 700 sounds like a good price.

I have the chrome 5 spoke 17's and they came with the Potenza 030's summer tires. I'm the second owner and the 1st owner replaced all 4 with the same. The car had 70,000+ miles and the second set were worn. I replaced with the 960PP A/S and are happy with them in the 235/45/17 size. Seems to be quieter and aren't as prone to follow the tar strips in the road but that could be because the tires were worn. The 030's were allegedly designed for the car but when I did my research I did not find good reviews on them. I plan to get dedicated snows probably in the 16in size.
