Default MB wheel questions

Sorry to ask this urgent question on the Lexus board.

Unfortunately, as much as I like MBs, its message board can be as unreliable as its cars. i.e. server not working.

Does anyone know if wheels from W140 S Class (92-99') are interchangeable with the W215 (00'-06') CL class vehicles?

Please help!

Thanks in advance!

Jon

Bolt pattern is the same for those Mercedes models, 5 x 112

You can go to the tirerack website to find wheels offered for those models, I think you will find they can use wheels of the same specs.

LIke what Andrew said, they'll fit.

I've seen the stock w220 (almost the same offset as the cl's) 16's on the old w140s.

Question is, what good looking w140 wheels are you putting on your CL?

You guys rock.

There's a reason why my CL can never completely replace my 230k mile SC4.

I promise that if I get the wheels, I'll post up some pictures as a token of my appreciation.

I've finally gotten the wheels/tires installed!

My previous deal fell through so I had to look for another set.

This set of rims/tires I bought was taken off a 2006' S500 W220 chasis. To my surprise, even though everyone I asked, including seller, said that the rims are completely swappable between W220 and my W215 CL, the rims actually would not clear my rear calipers. I had to buy a pair of 5mm spacers to make them fit.

The wheels/tires I bought are a set of chrome 20' Symbolic SL-27 with Falken tires.

I will post pictures when I have time to take some.
