I personally like these rims. For the price, it's better than getting knock-offs. And I actually don't mind the rivets

mc,
if you like the vr5 style, its quality is not a problem. though some of the entry level jdm name brand wheels are assembled in countries other than japan, the wheels still have to pass the tough safety std set up by the japan transportation(i think it is the jic, or something like that). the wheels would have such logos stamped on them. you are still getting wheels from a big name co from japan.
actually many metal foundries in taiwan makes parts(such as the outter rim, and sometimes the inner piece) for big name japanese co. and the finnal assembly takes place in japan. making wheels are labor intensive as well. for the price, they are decent wheels...

thanks guys for the info. I called Hiro today and he gave me a price. Might just have to take him up on the offer. Let you know how it goes. Thanks again.

The site for Hiro is http://shop.store.yahoo.com/lexusparts/index.html.
I talked to Hiro and he said this rim doesn't come in a 19" . I really wanted a 19" rim but I really like this wheels and the price is so good. If I do decide, it is going to be sliver finish 18"x8.5F and 18"x9.5R. Right now I am leaning more towards on getting them.
Thanks Again.

Do any of you know what offset these wheels come. I got a response from shinestreet.com and they said that these were only shipped to the us with a +35 offset. They said they could shave off 4mm to give a +39 offset. I don't know about that though. What do you guys think? Do you know where I can get a +39 offset without having to shave.
